My Saturday Photography - 6...

Above is the White Senduduk [Melastoma malabathricum] in my garden. It is a rather variety than the Purple color one which grows in the wild and bloom all the year around. The Senduduk is a hardy plant and good to grows around the hedges.

Have a nice day.;

I have a few white senduduk trees in my garden. The small bees seem to love very much their white flowers. Yours seem to bloom better. I think my garden soil is too 'hard' for senduduk putih. What kind of fertilizer do you use? Have a lovely day.

Temuk,thanks for the visit and sharing your thoughts on the subject of this posting.

Well I found that if you grow flowering plant on the ground it often takes it time to flower but if you plant it in a pot and put it on the ground, you actually control its growth. In doing so it tend to flower faster which I believe is part of its survival mechanism.

As for fertilizer I use a mix of homemade compos and commercial flower fertilizer.

Have a nice day.
