[this is the symbol of the National Front or the Barisan Nasional]....... It is a sunny day and as usual it is hot and humid..... the whole town is gaily decorated with bunting, banner, and flags of the various political parties that are taking part in this year election..... But as usual the National Front symbol of blue are everywhere and it has indeed turn the atmosphere to blue.... Of course there is the green and white circle flag of the Islamic Party Pas and the Keadilan blue eye, but it is somewhat overshadowed by the Blue symbol of the National Front..... On the TV, Radio and the newspaper, most of the news are on the happening of the campaign trial.... all over the country...... It look like those politicians does not seem to sleep, they seem to be everywhere campaigning..... Well that is their job to woo voters and explain their manifesto to the public..... Except for a few incidences Malaysian campaign scene are relative clean and civil.... for Malaysian have seen elections for all throught its independence history, with the first election in ninety fifty five, two years before it gain independence, since that time election has been held every five years or so, without fail..... A democratic country since it became an independent country in nineteen fifty seven...... Different from the past election, this election saw the New Prime Minister, Datuk Sri Abdullah Badawi leading the campaigns trail for the first time after the previous Prime Minister, Dr.M decided not to run for office anymore after being PM of Malaysian for twenty two years....... Abdullah promise a change of style in leadership and He seem to be a popular PM despite being in office just three months....... And it is hope this election would give the new PM a new mandate to rule this country for the next five years..... Personally I do hope he is given a big majority in this election, so that he could continue to lead Malaysian to a new height in the year to come...... Well in any Election, no one really would know the outcome as yet...... It is in the hand of the voters, so come next Sunday.... Malaysian would cast their votes and select a new government and I believe that Malaysian voters are intelligent and smart and they would surely make a good choice..... Come Election Day.......
