Its life...

We really do not know what would happen next, like the happening last Sunday when we went to Putra Jaya and met the Prime Minister. We never planned it. It was an in pronto decision. And it just happened like that. In life nothing is sure and we must take it as it is and enjoy those moment in time.

I love to blog and it has so far enriched my life. The above image shows the place I would sit and blog while flipping the channels watching the TV. It is my ritual of living. Sometimes when I want a change of scene I would blog at the patio and at the same time enjoy the scene of my little garden. That has been my ways of enjoying life as it goes, for we actually never know what would happen next. Have a nice day.

Hi Idrus,

That's a beautiful mantlepiece! It reminded me of the other heritage pieces of furniture you showed in a previous post. Did you create it yourself, or was it a remarkable find in Kuantan?

Also, a very creative placement of a mirror in it since you don't need a fireplace in KL.

Louis, thanks for your visit and the comment on this posting especially on the mantle.

Well I found it in a friend's shop which I frequented. I saw that piece and without really thinking much I bought and told the friend to keep it in the shop until I had finished renovating my home.

It is a piece of craftsmanship on teak wood and I think it is made by the Javanese in Indonesia. I had a mirror fixed where the fireplace should be and VoilĂ !! I got a mirror image of the space. In interior decoration mirror create an illusion of space, In a way you get more space of the same area by using mirror. With a little touch here and there, it create an atmosphere of warmth and cozy.

I am glad that you like it. In fact most who sit at this part of the house love it as well. Have a nice day.
