Of Me, Blogging and the Star....

Well it look like blogging is in the news again. The Star, a Malaysian mainstream newspaper today highlights the role of blogging by the seniors in the Malaysian blogging world. This well articulate article by Indramalar is on page 2 and 3 of the StarTwo section of the newspaper. It touches on the roles of Wired Seniors in the Malaysian blogging scene. As one of the blogger interviewed for the article I say Thank You to those at the Star for highlighting Blogging. Especially so in giving me the opportunity to share my views on blogging. For I truly believe that Blogging is here to stay and a valuable tool for the development of democracy in this country. Indeed a godsend tool for writers who are otherwise would not have the opportunity to share their thoughts, like now in blogging.

To all Malaysian I urge that you all blog and share your thoughts with fellow Malaysian. In a democracy everyone input are important ingredients for the recipe of making a successful Malaysia. In doing so we would continue to make this country of ours a better place to live and enjoy life. Have a nice day.

Pak Idrus,

Not just democracy, but quality of life. Good social interaction and environment. You are doing more than your fair bit towards this end.

To prevent violence begins with each individual at peace with himself and his neighbours.

By taking the initiative to share about your life, you help me to know myself better.

Thank you and keep blogging.

hi bro. Idrus...I am the most loved as well as most F...up commenter in Malaysian blogging to exercise my freedom of speech.
Have a nice day!

I was brought to your blog after reading TheStar. I was introduced to blogging by my children. I do admit that sometimes I kind of get lazy to write, but I must tell you the satisfaction that I get even to key-in just about 3 paragraphs! When I started blogging (slightly less than a year), I thought that I might be the oldest lady blogger in Selangor...but that might not be true.

Friends, thanks for the visit and those thoughtful comments.

hi%lo, Quality of life and good living start with a truly democratic system. If only everyone take good care of their family we would not have any problem as now. PPL has to go back to the core of the family system and work from there. We did that in our family and it works perfect.

monsterball, the pro and con is what made living interesting and colorful. It would be a dull world indeed if everything are stereotype. BTW there are limit in the freedom of speech.

damelehrer, Great to know that you have start blogging. I seem not to be able to get to your blog. I believe that people of our age group should blog. To me Blog is godsend and I love blogging. Like you getting a posting is already a great satisfaction to me.

Friends, Have a nice day and take care.

Pak Idrus,

Unfortunately, the maturity to handle freedom of speech is a rarity.

hi&lo, thanks, Maturity comes with times. We are just 50 years old. We need to continue in nurturing democracy and guard it jealously. We would get there eventually. Have a nice day.
