A Family Dinner...

It was a beautiful September evening. The weather was great with a full moon hanging above. We drove to the KLCC to enjoy a family dinner there. We decided on the Ben's. Booked a table for ten and wait for the rest of the family to arrive. They decided to come on their own. Asmah and I arrived first and just before six thirty the rest of the gang arrived. We sat at the table which had been reserved for the family. The waiter brought the menu and everyone takes their time to select the food and drink they wanted. While waiting for the foods and drinks to be served we chat on various subject and watch the colorful fountains below lighted up.

The fountain has recently been upgraded to color, synchronized to the tune of music. The colorful display was a magnificent sight to watch from the glass window in the restaurant.
Then the foods and drinks arrived and we sat to enjoy it. After dinner some member of the family want to go shopping and would meet again for dessert at another outlet. We disperse and would meet again for dessert. With everyone having their cellphone getting in touch again in the crowded mall would be easy, unlike during the time before the cellphone.

I decided to take the youngest grand kid Azib to have a closer look of the fountain, then walk with him to the garden nearby and watch the fountain from the other side. This is his first experience going to the park and was delighted to follow enjoying himself as he snaps the scenes away using his iPhone. We just take it easy before going back into the mall to join the others and have dessert at one of the ice cream joint.

It looks like everyone did enjoy the evening. After a while I decided to get home leaving the rest of the family to go on doing their shopping again.

On the left are some images of the evening outing.

Have a nice day.

It is nice to be able to go outing with family. We miss it here in this sleepy so-called city. You have KLCC and a host of other places to have lunches and dinners. We miss places like Royal Selangor Golf Club and the Club Perdana where it is peaceful and foods are reasonably cheap for members.

Al-Manar, thanks for the visit and sharing your thoughts on the subject of this posting. Yes indeed it really good to be with the family from time to time especially having dinner or lunch at a fine dine restaurant like at the KLCC. That is why I just could not live away from the first world although I do miss some of the charm of the rural area. But then we can never have both world for life is like that.

Have a nice day.
