Of Golden age... Just be careful eh!

Folks, I received this email from a friend and thought that it is a good one to share around especially to those in the golden age like me. Instead of just forwarding it I am sharing it here for everyone to enjoy. Perhaps learn a thing or two about life. I have edited the original for clarity, so here it its goes:-

"And elderly couple was sitting in their living room, talking about life... In-between, they talked about the idea of living or dying.

He said to her:

'Dear honey, never let me live in a vegetative state, totally dependent on machines and liquids from a bottle.
If you see me in that state I want you to disconnect all the contraptions that are keeping me alive,
I'd much rather die'.

Then the good wife got up from the sofa with this real look of admiration towards him...and proceeded to disconnect the TV, the Cable TV, the Astro, the Broadband, the DVD, the Computer, the Cell Phone, the iPod, the iPad and the MP3 player, and then went to the fridge and threw away all his favorite drinks!..

HE ALMOST DIED!.."

Folks, now that you have stopped laughing, do just be careful of what you ask for the next time. You may get what you wished for.... Have a nice day.

Frequent use of wrong words, though not on purpose, is a characteristic of people of our age. Tersasul? Of course, the effects could be disastrous. Terlajak perahu boleh diundur, terlajak kata buruk padahnya.

OK, Idrus,

I know you are taking aim at me by including the iPod and iPad. Fortunately for me, with them I don't need the cord, at least for hours at a time.

We have cut the cable tv (meaning all broadcast tv over here) and we haven't missed it at all. We hardly ever used it anyway. But take away my iPad and computer and no one would be able to live with me!

Temuk, thanks for the visit and sharing your word of wisdom referring to the subject of this posting. Well, that is the golden age, we often forget the present but would remember those of the past as vividly as ever.

Now that we have more wisdom, I for one would just take it when I or my spouse forgot somethings and take it as a way of life now. Not worth fretting out such things any more. If the tap is not closed I would just closed it and move on with life. Life in the golden age is like that, so let enjoy it.

Have a nice day.

louis, thanks for the visit and sharing your thoughts on the subject that folks in the golden are in a dilemma. To ask or not to ask!.

Anyway since you iDad love your iPod and iPad so much, you better make sure that they would not touch all those toys of yours or else you would go on crying.

I believe it is the same with me no one should take my Broadband and my laptop. They can take everything else and I would be happy with just that.

Have a nice day and take care.
