Of the flow of water...

About is my creation. It is sort of a fountain where water flows continuously from the top Ceramic Pot to the bigger Pot at the bottom. I have been toying of how best I could create a fountain that is different from the one I had in my little garden. With the Water pump, I got it done after a few experiments to the right size of the pot and it height relative to the pot at the bottom. I believe I got it right this time, thus you see the water flowing down along the sides of the top pot. The water flows continuously without making any sound like that often happens when water drops in a traditional fountain. It is so silence and it create a soft touch to my garden. Indeed the mystic of water to our lives. Have a nice day.

Pak Idrus,
Thanks for the idea. I hope there is no copyright as I want to make a similar one since I have an unused pot and a mini pump. Love what you did.

Good work, Idrus. There was a time when we all loved to have a water feature. But I do love the sound of water though .. it takes us back to the melancholy of kampong life by the river to some.... I used to have one but the pump broke when somehow I forgot to keep it submerged. With the onset of dengue and all the feature had remained non-functional till now :( I do hope to change that pretty soon....hopefully..

Salam Pak Idrus
That's a lovely creation. The green shiny pot at the top gives a great background for the 'cascading' water. That beautiful creation is a good reminder to us that 'what goes up, must come down!' Have a nice day.

Pak Zawi, thanks for the visit and the good words on this project of mine.

Well it turn out alright and I loved it. Of course you can copy it, for what is knowledge if one does not share it. Go ahead and get it done. How I wished I have larger space to create more water display such as this one.

Have a nice day.

MANDALAY, Azimah thanks for the visit and the good words on this creation of mind. Thanks as well for sharing your thought on the water and the sound of water to the environment.

For wanting that kind of environment I got a small fish pond with a water outlet that made gushing sound of water. There are two other small Water display from pots and it does create loud sound of water falling. Sort of a cascading waterfall from one level to another. It does give a therapeutic feeling.

Knowing for a fact that I could never have a house near some water source like a river or pond, I decided to bring that water source to my patio, thus those various fountains.

Have a nice day.

Temuk, thanks for the visit and the good words on this creation of mind. Thanks as well for that word of wisdom on what goes up do come down. A beautiful metaphor on this fountain of mine.

Been near water or such water display always remind us life and the wonderful feeling of living itself. True water is the source of life and its therapeutic effect does create an environment of peace and tranquility.

Have a nice day.

~Covert_Operations'78, Ee Lynn thanks for the visit and the good words on my creation. I love doing things and my mind never stop to think of creating things of beauty. In this project it takes awhile before I got it. I am truly happy with the result.

How I wished I have a larger space, I could create a Bon Ton concept around my home. Well with the little space I got I am doing my best to create that kind of environment.

I am glad that you like it. Have a nice day.

Colleen Loehr, thanks for the visit and the good words on the subject of this posting.

Yes indeed, an overflowed cup that I loved. It is the quietness that made this 'cup' so unique and special. Adding another water element in my little garden. I am glad that you loved it too.

Have a nice day.

If my other half sees this I will have some problem because I dislike potting round the garden except when forced to help water when the weather is hot. So I pray for rain. Fountain is good if it helps me from having to do the watering!

Al-Manar, Hassan thanks for the visit and sharing your thoughts on the subject of this posting.

It look like we differ in gardening for I love to do gardening and enjoy it. It is the same with my spouse.

As for those fountains I love to toy with things around the house and often create new toys to play around, thus the various pot's fountain at my patio.

Have a nice day.
