Custard Pudding...

In my last posting I talk about Custard Apple or Buah Nona and here is another kind of Custard. It is a pudding that especially made for a sweet enjoyment after meals. It does goes well as a dessert after Dinner or Lunch. At time it is also served at Tea Time on an afternoon when we invited guests to the house for a get together. The above are Custard Pudding that my spouse just made. It is one of my favorite desserts. Have a nice day.

  2. Lovely! My compliments to Makcik! My mother used to make this for us when we were little. I guess one day I will make egg custard pudding for my children too... and then we would have come a full circle with family traditions.

Mom always cook with love so it is only natural that food that your mom prepare taste better than the one you buy. I hope you do learn to make this wonderful pudding. If your Mom could do a good one surely some of it run in the family. Believe me that when the time come for you to do the same it would surely come naturally... a good Custard Pudding just like your Mom did. It does run full circle! Remember tradition die hard.

    Have a nice day.

  9. Al-Manar, Thanks for the visit.

Yes I do cook too. I was raised up in a Restaurant that was run by my late father and as usual we had to help. In the process we learned about cooking and I am happy that I now could cook as well. But as you know the Mrs has taken over the kitchen and as such I no long get the chance to do the cooking. But at time I do help in the cooking especially when we invites friends for dinner.

As for this Pudding, it was prepared with love by Asmah and it does taste real good.

    Have a nice day.
