Earth Hour 2009...

Folks, March 28, 2009 is Earth Day 2009. Global warming has created lots of damage to our blue planet so let us do our bits to save mother earth from getting warmer. Alone we could not do much but together we could save lots and lots of energy, so let us do it together. Come March 28, 2009 do switch off your light for an hour from 8:30PM to 9:30PM and live in the dark for that period. I believe if everyone on earth does just that we would be able to conserved lots of energy for a day. Our families in Ampang jaya have decided to do just that, so folks let do it together for our common interest. Have a nice day.

Yup, was just about to write on it as well. Let's give nature and our natural resources a break.

  2. cakapaje, Shah thanks for the visit and sharing your thoughts on this very important subject. In Malay they say 'sedikit sedikit menjadi bukit'[bit by bit it would eventually became a hill].

Let spread this around and come March 28 switch off that light.

    Have a nice day.

  6. Anonymous, Yvonne thanks for the visit and sharing your thoughts on this issue. Yes little things like this would surely do lots of difference.

Have fun in the dark. When I was growing in the forties darkness at night was normal and it real fun to play in the dark.

    Have a nice day.

  7. all-in-one,thanks for the visit and sharing your thoughts on this issue.

Yes it would be a great idea to talk to the kids of this generation of what this is all about. Little things like this do made the differences.

When I was growing up in the forties there was no electricity and the night is always dark but we all had our kind of fun at night, sometime using the oil lamp and sometime even in th dark.

    Have a nice day.
