Blogtoon..
Friends, I found this cartoon. Its so relevant to the Malaysian blogging scene now. Much as I had enjoyed it, I believe others would enjoy it as well. Thanks Norizan for highlighting it. Have a nice day.
When i was small, the Globe Silk Store is a landmark for me that I am on Jalan TAR. And I always wonder where is Batu Road having heard my late father mentioning it a few times!!! I guess those who are over 70 years of age still call it Batu Road (?)
Damelehrer, thanks for the visit. Yes, the Globe Silk Store is the landmark then, it was a One dollar store that every Malaysian come to shop. Sad that it has stop doing business now. Well time changes.
As for the name Batu Road, I still think of it as Batu Road. Yes only the folks in their golden age remember this. I hope my article would give the young some history of this historical part of our city. Have a nice day and take care.
