We gave the best education to our kids and now the grandchildren are reaping the benefit of their achievement. My hope is that the next generation would continue to prosper and enjoy better education for their future.

Have a nice day.Pak Idrushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05420141407304142741noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5803753.post-10961452342240460722009-06-18T23:47:22.377+08:002009-06-18T23:47:22.377+08:00Salam Pak Idrus! Your grandchildren are very lucky indeed.

As I came from a small town, most of the teenagers looked for part-time work during the school holidays to earn money for school fees and revision books. We learned the value of money very young.

My first trip abroad was to the USA (in 1999) as I had won the grand prize in a competition. I took my parents along. You can imagine the excitement! We never thought we would be able to travel to such a faraway place that would normally have cost so much.

I wish your children kept blogs, Pak Idrus. Then we would get to read of their travels and view the photographs. That would have been fascinating!

Regards,
CO78~CovertOperations78~https://www.blogger.com/profile/05533605886607468773noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5803753.post-48212786381895213542009-06-14T12:33:29.032+08:002009-06-14T12:33:29.032+08:00xplorer, thanks for the visit and sharing your tho...xplorer, thanks for the visit and sharing your thoughts on the subject of this posting. One thing to consider is that the cost and ease of long distance travel has eased, allowing more people to go see the World. The world is no longer alien to children because also of the internet and television. Travel as they say, broadens the mind!

There are of course many families that cannot do these things still. By the way, it looks like summer hasn't hit Europe yet, in those photos!

Ps. Your macro lens surely gives you joy! Keep up the great work with your beautiful nature objects!svlleehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10483364644350925722noreply@blogger.com
