The Serambi....

The Serambi or a sort of a patio, is always part of the traditional Malay house...It is built out front of the house, thus it is actually a place outside the main house...A place where folks would sit to chat and yarn in the evening till late night without disturbing the others inside the house...I had this specially built for wanting the feeling of a traditional home that I once live during my childhood...In modern home this special function space have been totally left out, what a lost to the tradition.....What I did was just to give me the environment of the kampong [village] that I once live.... Now this space is love by all who visit my home...And friends would rather sat there and chat rather then getting into the house proper...The Serambi...That my friends is the wisdom of the old....They do know how to enjoy life....Posted by Hello

A journey....

Sometime thing happen just like that on one's journey of life...Like everyone on this planet, I journey on and enjoying every minutes of the journey..Some scene remain the same but most keep changing.. On every journey I never found any scene monotonous... Like always, it has been colorful...God have create this gorgeous earth and gave us Love, so that we may enjoy its to the fullest...Everything are there for us to enjoy and for that we should be thankful to Him for giving us everything for us to survived on this blue planet...I believe we all should take a pause from time to time and say Thanks You my Lord for giving this life for us to enjoy...Personally I have been blessed with all the goodness that I need and for that my thanks are endless.....When I was training youth in leadership camp.. I use to related a particular story to get a message across ...And I believe those youth who heard it, must have in a way got the message, especially the philosophy of the story, thus improving their quality of life and venture on being successful,always...Let me relate it here for everyone who visit my blog...The story goes like this...Every morning an old man wait patiently for the bus to arrive for him take in order to proceed on with his daily journey...He has done it all the time...As usual sometime the bus arrive late and sometime on time and there are occasions that the scheduled bus arrived too early and because of it He missed that bus...It does not matter to Him...He waited for the next bus...All this time while waiting He never seen to be angry or frustrated with the arrival of the bus. He is always seen Happy...And as usual with such scene, He soon became an institution that are seen by many, always happy and smiling, come what may...He is always there waiting for the bus, every morning, smiling and it was a familiar sight for the others...One day a young man who is always unhappy with the schedule of the bus and always in a hurry and when He missed the bus would get angry...So one day this young man decided to ask this old man what is that He is always happy...The old man look at the young man and smile...Well my dear Sir, addressing this young man...He replied by saying that He has no reason to be unhappy, for He has just been given another day to live..He wake up this morning and was able to breath, that mean he is alive and kicking and therefore has no reason not to smile and continue to enjoy life...For He is already old and that today He is still around and living, He has been given another day to live and enjoy his life, must he fret all days, not sure that He would be given another day to live..He is actually making Hays while the sun shine..He continue tell the young man...Why should I be sad or angry or frustrated and waste my life for all the days..You are still young but you are not sure you would be around tomorrow or the next second, so I believe that we should take all the time that are give to us to enjoy..To enjoy the days start with a smile and say Thanks you God for giving me another day to live and then continue with your journey as thought your are going to live forever on this blue planet and at the same time remember that your time might be up any moment....So my advice to all say the old man...Get going with live with a smile and a thanks you to your creator for giving you another day to live and enjoy life....Give love and do all the goodness and you would have a wonderful life just like me...Soon the bus arrived, this time in time, He excuses himself and boarded the bus and proceed on his journey as usual...That my friends is the story that has been my philosophy of life...Let journey on, and enjoy life...

The Durian...

Yes! The Durian is back, the King of Fruits is back, I am told by farmers friends that this time it is coming back with a vengeance...There would surely be a glut for everywhere the orchards are full of fruits..A friend who live part of his life in Raub, a Chinaman we call Tongsan call me for some others things and in that instance I related him to his durian orchard in Raub..for we just had durian...And yesterday our son in law brought more of it...He had makes a friend of the durian seller nearby, another Chinaman, who sell only the best...I guess He knows whom to sell..These Chinaman are really good businessman...I do not believe there are better businessman/woman better then these fellows...They are really good in doing their business, no matter where they would survived...Whereas the others would tell you all the excuses in the world of why they fail in their business..The Chinaman do not..One thing about these Chinaman, if you ask them how is business, He or She would reply with a smile that cukup makanlah tuan 'just enough to survived ' and would not boast but as for the others when asked would tell you all, even how much he/she makes on a day taking...Sometime watching interview with these farmers on the local TV.., they would describe everything of how they grow things and how much they make and are very proud of saying so, without realizing that in business you do not tell everything, especially the income you make..But then that is the culture of certain people..How I wished they learn from the humble and the smart Chinaman in doing business. They would surely learn a thing or two on how to be successful in doing business... Just tell others what they need to know only and do not boast..The rest should best kept to yourselves...That my friend is business...Coming back to the durian, the one we got the last few days were really good...Have a look and enjoy..... Delicious.... Posted by Hello

Window shopping...

I love to window shop..Even if I did not buy anything, at least in the process of watching and admiring the works of arts on display, a great job done by professional in their own fields...An appreciation of the works of the arts..For it is the arts that give us the refined living space, making living so wonderful...Unless we are those of the class of the Rich and Famous, we would only have one or two of living habitats that we could call our own...Only a few of us in the middle class of the society that have more then one place to live, some have a house in one location and a condo in another location and would stay at these places from time to time to enjoy life...Most of us do not have that kind of habitat, so in order to enjoy living in a 'new' environment from time to time in the same home, one had to use one's ingenuity to create a new scene and environment, a different scenario in the same space, by adding new fine furnishing in order to make the space more appealing and beautiful to live.. I love to do just that to my living space...Fortunately my spouse love doing it too...So from time to time we would just go for window shopping, just for the fun of its all.... The last few days I decided to do some window shopping on my own at the other part of Ampang Point... Those rows of shops behind the De Palma hotel...There are many shops here and the parking is a bid easier..There are two colleges of international standard that utilized most of the upper level of these buildings and it cater for the local as well as the foreign students. There are two home furnishing shops that sell upper class quality furniture, a few restaurants and varieties of other shops that sell items mostly for the home. And there are many offices of companies at the upper level, that can be reach by lift or steps at various entrances..This place is a sorts of a business centre of its own...In window shopping....I love to see those works of arts on display in the shops, in the home furnishing shops there are many furniture in various style made of varities of woods like mahogany, teak and other temperate climate wood like birch, of course there are those that are made of rubber wood that look as good and other Malaysian woods like merbau... Actually I was looking for a good writing table to replace the one I am using now....I want a really good and comfortable one..I saw a few made of mahogany and the price were not that expensive...The sale people were very informative and in the end I bought one, which happen to be the last piece of the kind of design that I like...Well I am an impulse buyer and if it is already in my mind, browsing a few time would solved my problem...Normally when I want to get something new, I would discuss this first with my spouse to see whether she is on the same wavelength with me, it had to be that way, since whatever items we had in the house had to blend well with the other furnishing, so buying an items had to be thoughts of careful, for this my spouse and me discuss often..To make such addition blend well, thus making its a perfect and a harmonious objects in our home..We normally discuss for a sometime before we make any purchase, so if I ever makes a purchase on impulse, it is actually have been in my mind for sometime already..A cell phone call to my spouse to discuss at the time of finding an items, most of the time solved the decision to purchase. Living in a house that is just two thousand square feet big, we have to take every available space into consideration when we want to purchase a new items for the house, so whenever we plan to upgrade the furniture from time to time, we have to think of what to do with the old or the used one which are still good and could still be use.. We solved this problems by finding people that would accept such gift with love, as we know that there are many people out there that are looking for furniture or any household items to furnish their home and as yet could afford to buy now, so giving to such people makes its 'a win win like situation'..Us the giver happy and the receiver happy as well..We decided on giving free rather then selling for we felt good doing just that...Like last month we bought a small dining table made of wood for the kitchen from Macy and a new three sitter coach from IKEA...I start thinking of whom shall I offer this two sets of items that we had to give away, so that the new items just bought could takes its place...In the course of our lives we have given many household items to relatives and friends near and afar whenever we upgrade our furnishing...For these particular items, after enquiring around for a while, I found the person,a young man that I know, married with young kids, that live nearby and he was too happy to gets those items, so I ask him to get a transport to take it...So with that I gave away these items that would make this young couple happy indeed.. Sometime thing that we no longer need could be otherwise to others..A friend ask Me What has happen to the old furniture... I told him that I gave it away and it makes someone happy...He smile!! He say do you know that you also makes another person happier...I ask him who ?...And his reply...Surely those people at the shops where you buy those items are happy as well...True in the process of purchasing and giving many people get the benefit and became happy...Me the buyer, the Shop that sell and the person I give the old items away...Well Friends that is life....let us share happiness...

The computer...

It has been a hot and humid day..I went out to send my desktop computer to the store for a check up...Well like us human, sometime this machine do get sick from time to time..It is good that I had make friends with those personals at the computers store at Ampang Point, where I did my purchase of things computer and send the computer that got sick from time to time for a check up of its system...This desktop computer is up at the attic where it stay there, quite often ideal...Sometime I use it to do some word processing job and printing and at other time my grandson came over, he would use it to the fullest surfing the net and playing games..He love to be there alone and enjoy surfing the net...Well children nowadays take to the computer like ducks to the water...It is their world and there are catching fast with the computer age, so if parents want their children to be at par with the rest of the children of their age, they must expose their children to computer at an early age...It would be wise to have a computer at home, where the children could use it from time to time...Our eldest grandson was expose to computer at an early age of just two years old...We were then living in Boston, USA and He is normally left at home with his grandma who at that time is totally lost with the computer and because of him, the grandma had to learn of how to use the computer and eventually both the grandchild and the grandma became literate to the computer world...Had it not be for this grandson, the grandma would not be interested in this new world of computer..I have no patience to be with him and again when I was living in Boston, I was always out wondering around the city, to down town or visiting some historical site that are aplenty in Boston...Well now that this grandson had grown up and he is still like before, love the computer and of course his Playstation Two, that he got for his birthday...Friends lucky that Me the grandpa love the computer as well, so we actually get along very well indeed in this new media..Well..It look like it runs in the family....That friends is life in the new found world of cyberspace.......

Talking about luxurious........

I have being toying with the idea of completely redo my bathroom, the attached bathroom to the master bedroom...I have already upgraded the common bathroom and it look great and love by everyone, includes the guests...So it is time that I upgrade the other bathroom, my own bathroom... For a start I had to get ideas..., my visit to IKEA give me some ideas and decided on an item to buy there, then I visit Jalan Ipoh, the street where they sell all the hardware for any home improvement projects...Rows and rows of shops that sell everything under the sun that has to do with housing...A friend that had decided to do the same thing with his two bathrooms in a condo that he live, decided to follow me on this adventure to Jalan Ipoh, to wonder and look for ideas and hardware for our projects....Me, I had some rough ideas of what I want my new bathroom to look like, I want it to be like those in the five stars hotels, beautifully designed and well built and at the same time great to use...After all the bathroom is an important aspect of the home, making it an enjoyable place to be from time to time would surely enhance our quality of life...The small luxury that we could afford in our own home...So why not upgrade the existing bathroom and give it a luxurious look and function....So I set on this fact finding trip to Jalan Ipoh and met a few of those good people who are professional in their trades, that sell these hardware and found a few that are very helpful, in giving ideas and suggesting material to use...Jimmy the General Manager of one of the company that sells bathroom hardware took much of his time to explain his concept of what a good bathroom is all about...He suggest some concept that I had not thought before, my thoughts before that was rather stereotype and never thought of any other way of doing a new bathroom...So he sat with me for hours and on that first visit I did not decide on any things...My friend Pa*l was actually doing the purchase since he had already had an idea of what he want for his new bathrooms...This project had been on my mind all week, I guess that is why I had not blog regularly in the last few days...Other then that I was actually spending my time reading a very good book that I just got .. I read it all in just a few days and enjoy the knowledge that I gain in this Godsend book...Well from time to time good book like this appear when we really need it......Coming back to my project of the bathroom...I toy with the ideas given by Jimmy and decided that it is indeed a good concept and worth a try....So today I decided to proceed with the purchase of the tiles for the bathroom and at the same time look for the other hardware such as the bowls and other bathroom accessories and material to enhance the look of my new bathroom, thus giving it a luxurious look... Well friends there are no end of improving a home....Life is like that..To enjoy.

My own dream world...

Well... I just got a new toy for myself....For the love of music..I had to get a new DVD player and a combination of other tools just for a personal entertainments, that I could tug away in my own domain to enjoy alone in the peace of my cocoon...I already had a home theatre set in the family hall and because my other half love to watch those Malay drama and the like, she had eventually taken over the place and enjoying the evening with peace. With me around who love to switch channels all the time, it would be a nuisance at her side, so not to get into unnecessary confrontation and to keep the peace and harmony, I decided that she could have the home theatre all the time, except when I really need to watch a great move like the Matrix on those sound system..Other then that I am happy with my laptop surfing cyberspace and at the same time watching the TV or listen to music on my own in my own space and time...So to add to the pleasure of watching and listening to good music I bought this JVC set this evening and now have the pleasure of watching my favorite Music video and music on MP3 and other CD's that I love, in my own dream world and at the same time wondering in cyberspace....Friends that is life in the first world....I believe Li*s, my rich and famous friend in Kuantan agree with me on this, he live half a month in Kuantan and the other half in Malawati, Kuala Lumpur. I am not that sure where is his base domain, I guess it does not matter since he still have only one spouse, who follow him everywhere he choose to live. Well friends, that is the way to live, do whatever you want and enjoy life....Have a nice day...

Fine living space...

I spend the last few days rearranging my small garden in front of our house... There is a small fish pond, orchids and greens potted plants and small fountain in terracotta pots that provide places for water plants to grows, there is also a bamboo bush as well as two pots of dwarf banana plants to give it a rural looks....I always try to rearrange these plants from time to time to get a better landscape of the garden...The trouble with me is that I want to live in both world, the world of the Kampong [village] and the world of city living...So for wanting to have a kampong atmosphere..I had almost completely turn my humble home in the suburban part of the city into a sorts of a kampong house but with modern amenities, for two of us to live in a condo like setting, a one floor living with everything within reach...At this age when the children are on their own, we do not really need a big house but instead a cozy living space that we can call our home...I use to live for days sometime in hotels all over the country and overseas when I was working for the government and I love living in all those plushy environment, beautifully design bedroom, bathroom well done spot clean that one could sleep in it, luxurious fitting and artistically designed setting, with all the comfort that only the 'rich and famous' could enjoy....I love those hotel living so when I retired from the service and with plenty of time on my side I decided that I want our home to be just like those four star living spaces in major hotels...My spouse who sometime accompany me on trips and experience living in such hotels living environment, somehow got to the liking just like me...So after retirement We would from time to time try to improve the home...We decided not to buy a new house but instead improved the existing one by upgrading it from time to time...That we did all the time...At one time our home makes it into the Anjung Seri Magazine [a local fine living magazine] and now it has change again, many time since. If the two Anjung Seri's people were to come again, they would not have recognize the old setting, which had been freeze in time in their Magazine...We have added a serambi [patio] with plank flooring, a small garden with slate flooring and an attic where all my books and a desktop computer are set..Our grandchildren call this attic their Internet Cafe, so now the elder boy would take over this computer when he is around and the little girls and the youngest boy would be happy with an old laptop of mine in another room...The two teen ages would take over my latest laptop for their surfing.....And for a while Atuk [grandpa] is left without a computer...The home would be in a mess of a sorts for a while when they are here...And they all love Nenek [grandma] house setting, when there are changes, they would recognized instantly....Cantiklah [beautiful] Nenek ...Azib the youngest would say itu baru [those are new] and the eldest would tease him, bukanlah [no it is not] and he would get angry....tongenglah tu his mother would say... And things would then became hilarious...And since we love to entertain guests, the home make great setting for a cozy dinner with friends from time to time...Since both of us love to cook, preparing dinner became a pleasure and we enjoy it every times...A friend from overseas who had stayed in our home while on a holiday here, in a letter say that our home is a picture perfect setting...What a compliment...We love our home and would continue to give it a new look from time to time...Adding color to our life...As we journey on...

Curiosity....

The say curiosity killed the cat...Well being a species that is suppose to be more intelligent then the cat, and were curious of Nilai 3, we decided to venture to find out for ourselves and be satisfied with our curiosity..In today's adventure, we thought that we should be careful about this curiosity of ours, lest we be disappointed...So with an open mind, we venture on this Sunday morning out of that curiosity to visit the famous Nilai 3 township, a sorts of a Factory outlet, like that you find in the USA...I love to visit those Factory Outlets and have visited many, as faraway as the one in Maine at the Canadian boarder...So the existence of an outlet of a sorts call the Nilai 3, sound interesting...We have indeed being curious of this place that many people have talk about. It is not that far from the city where we live and just off the Highway to the south...So today just before lunch we decided to take an adventure to the 'new' place.... We took the normal outer link road to the northsouth Highway and then proceed to look for this place call Nilai 3...The weather was just OK and the traffics was flowing, I drove the Accord at just below hundred kilometer an hour and enjoying the drive...After getting through the toll boot at Sungei Besi using the Smartag, we head to Nilai and since we had not being to this place before since the Highway was open, we look for the road sign and I am sure it is somewhere after the interchange that take you to KLIA [Kuala Lumpur International Airport], we pass the interchange and eventually found one on our left the sign showing Nilai...I took the road and stop at the toll boot and still looking for sign of Nilai 3....Well eventually we found the sign showing Nilai 3, I drove slowly and after getting lost a few times, because of poor road sign,we arrived at the site of the Nilai 3...It is a huge complex with many shops selling all sorts of things which includes textile, wooden furniture, craft, decorative items and almost everything else under the sun...The place were already crowded with shoppers and there were cars everywhere..The parking of cars were rather disorganized, with cars being park on both side of the streets, in what about manner they like...I look for a parking lot and found one and just parked the car there and then we went out to look for Whatever, for we had no clue of what we are looking for, except to get here and see for ourselves of what this Nilai 3 is all about...Thousand of shops and selling almost the same things but we found that most of the things sold are not to our liking, thus lost our interest in the shopping part of the trip...Since it is past lunch time, we decided to look for a place to eat and found a food court.. On looking I found the food court not to our desire, disorganized and not that clean...I look for the washroom and found one... Although I had to pay thirty cent to use it...It was not kept clean..I hate washroom that are not kept clean...So that its...The food court was in such a state that we decided to ask around whether there are other eating places that are clean and was told that there are a few good restaurant around ...We look for it and eventually found one, but again it is not to our liking, with litter strew all over the floor of the restaurant..It just look dirty...So we decided after looking around for a while to leave this place and head for the R % R beside the Highway to have our lunch.....It look like this would be my first and last visit to Nilai 3, like the Malay saying [Indah khabar dari rupa] it is not like what they say about this place...I believe that those of us who have set a high standard of our shopping culture would not like this place...So do we...Well life is like that... So we left the place with an understanding that there is nothing special about this place call Nilai 3....As the saying goes.. Nothing venture nothing gain...Curiosity brought us to Nilai 3...We have seen it and I leave to others who have not been there to judge it for themselves...Good Luck......

Happy Mother Day

It is Mother Day again...So here is a greeting from me to all the Mothers...I guess We all actually never knew our mother until they are gone, personally to Me, where during my generation we do not have that many communication with our mother...Or for that matter our dad...Personally I had orders only from both of time and it was always a monologue, never had that chance to have a dialog like parents do now...I did have dialog with my children and now my grandchildren.... That is the present generation but during my dad and mom generation it was a different culture altogether... Well that was then and now the living culture of Malaysian have changes and it is indeed good for the family and the society...For example my spouse is everything to me...A mother to our kids. To me She is so many things, a Mother, a Wife, a friend and a lover and if you add the other parts she played in making the home a great place to live and enjoy life, the list are endless...So to Her and all those mothers everywhere, thanks you very much for making life so beautiful...Like the saying 'Mother knows best' Yes.. After living with one for more then forty years, I speak with wisdom for all those male of our species that without them life would be dull indeed...So be thankful that we have this female of our species that had made life so wonderful on this blue planet of ours...Cheers to all the Mothers on this auspicious day...The Mother day...

These ladies were comparing notes when I took this candid picture of them in our kitchen the other day...The one in white shirt in the centre is Nenek [grandma], the other two ladies are yet to be honor with the title Nenek......

A moving image..A trial run.....

Inspired by a blogger Dani with her moving image of the cat, I decided to try to doing just that but since I did not have a cat or any other animals, I thought that I would use my fish pond for this purpose.. Do click on the image and see whether it works...And let me know the result of this experiment...[ Please be patience, it takes some time to load, I use a digital camera to do this, any suggestion of how to get sound to it ]....Thanks.

The haze and the kopitiam table......

The haze is back and the whole city is hazy, what is wrong with the weather, it is the beginning of May and we should be getting a clear blue sky with white clouds all days long, but haze, that I just do not like...With haze the weather became more humid and uncomfortable to enjoy life...We are used to living all our life in the humidity of the tropic, still the haze, which is a new happening in this country are sight that I just do not like to see...Not only it obscure the sights but it is depressing and being depressed is not good for a healthy living...The authority is saying that it is because of the open burning in some neighboring countries, but then open burning had being the way of farming in this part of the world all the time and before there was no haze, only fog or mist in the early morning or evening, which is always welcome, since fog bring coolness to the atmosphere, as well it is make the day less humid...I love those days when we had kabus fog, but today we rarely see it...The weather has change indeed. Well as we progress we had to go through such happening and at one time the whole city of Los Angles were covered with haze and the city father decided to get rid of it and introduce new regulations and with that the city of LA is now haze free...So I hope the local authority would do something serious about getting rid of these haze instead of blaming it on slash and burn farming in neighboring countries....I blog this at my patio facing northwest with the twin tower of the KLCC in front of me, which I could hardy see because of the haze..Normally I could say with proud that my home have a view of the KLCC [surely it would add value to the house, with such a view] but then living is like that, some day it is one things and the other a different things altogether...This laptop set firmly on a kopitiam table, the marble top is more then eighty years old, a piece that I inherit from my dad, who ran a coffee shop then...Actually this marble top was already discarded by my brother and left to rots in his storeroom, when the shop were refurnished with new furniture..It was a forgotten piece until I start asking where are those old tables and my brother brought me to his storage area in his home in a kampong house and show me this piece of round marble top,.. All dirty..Without much ado I decided to take it home and got it clean and Voila... I got a beautiful piece of marble top for my kopitiam table [I had the wooden stand made by a friend who is a skill craftsmen]...With that here I have a valuable piece of furniture, that I would not part but hope that it would remain in the family for a long time to come..It is a priceless artifact now and I love this kopitian table...It is a piece of history in our family...So here sat the latest tools for communication, the laptop on an old marble top...What a combination...It match well, perfect...Sitting on a chair of another era [the kopitiam chair, now made of rubber wood] I rattle this away with ease and enjoying every minutes of its all the time despite the haze....Friends that is life...Have a nice day..

A trip to nowhere

What a day!!.. Sunday the first of May, a holiday..The weather was good, with clear blue sky...We had an invitation for a wedding party at lunch time somewhere in Klang, a small coastal city, west of Kuala Lumpur, where one of Malaysia biggest port is situated...Malaysia gateway to the commercial world, the world renowned Westport, Northport...At the Klang Port...Since it is a Sunday we decided to take it easy driving by taking the normal highway that lead west to Klang...Actually we are really not that keen to go for a lunch wedding function at a home, where there would be a large numbers of visitors, mostly those that live nearby attending such function...Moreover the venue would be hot and crowded... Normally it is just a get there affair, meet the host, enjoy the meals and leave...So for a short function it is sometime not worth the trip...In this case we decided just to take it easy and enjoy the drive to Klang, for we had not been to this part of the country for such a long time already, probably more then eight years...We left home at just past twelve, decided to take the highway via the elevated highway and the Sprint highway which take us direct after the arch of the Selangor/Federal territory and then got into highway toward Klang...As we proceed we got caught in a traffic jam and I was wondering, what is happening on this Sunday where normally there would be not that many cars on the road...For almost an hour we move at crawling pace and inch forward at just below ten kilometer an hour, and then eventually we found that there were an accident just before the junction toward Sunway City...A holiday resort of a sorts...And after more that an hour of crawling drive we arrive at Klang...We followed the direction given to us on the invitation card...But it took us nowhere, just round and round the city and after more then an hour we are still not able to get to the address given to us...So we decided to call it off and not to attend the wedding but instead to head back for home...This time we were looking for a way out of Klang and as we proceed, I saw the green sign board that show the Highway...Happy...I follow the sign and I found that this road is new to me, for the scene along both side of the road look so different from the one when we first arrive at Klang...Anyway since the sign say that the road lead to KL...I just took it easy and enjoy the journey...With my spouse taking it easy as well...And eventually we found that we are on the KESAS Highway...That mean we are on right direction to get home in Ampang Jaya...It is already almost four in the afternoon and since we did not get to the lunch, we thoughts that we might as well head somewhere for a late lunch and perhaps an early dinner...We drove on and decided to stop at the Great Eastern Mall and had our lunch/dinner at the 'Cozy Restaurant' there and had a hearty meals....Well for the whole trip to and fro I was driving for almost four hours non stop...Since the Accord is new and a pleasure to drive, I was actually enjoying the trip although we did not get to our destination but instead went on a trip to nowhere...With my spouse beside me and always had something to chat about, it was just a nice trip, getting to see new sight that we never knew exist before...Well at this age and careless of the time factors we really did enjoy this trip to nowhere...Well friends that is life...Sometime events like this adventure of a sorts, do makes the difference in our way of life...What a way to spend a Sunday...A trip to nowhere....
